Downtown Excursion

Description: If you're not up for a driving tour but still want to see some more of LA, join us for our second option: A Downtown Excursion! We've made a reservation at The Broad (rhymes with "road"), acontemporary art museum that just opened in 2015. There are a lot of great instagram-worthy exhibits here, including the highly coveted "Infinity Room," which you might get to see if you make the list! After the museum we'll head over to Grand Central Market to sample that various cuisine and cultures. If anyone is still up for some exploring after lunch, the historic and well-filmed Bradbury Building is nearby (and free) to check out as well as the "world's shortest railway," Angels Flight. You can join us for as long as you'd like or feel free to part ways after the museum to head back or check out some things on your own.

Location: The Broad Museum and Grand Central Market

Transportation:  Meet in the LA Hotel Lobby at 10 am for the 0.6 mile walk to the Broad. Museum reservation for 10:30am. From there it is another 0.4 miles to Grand Central Market

 

Cost: $5/person. Includes entrance into the museum. A self-guided audio tour is available. Food and drink available for purchase at Grand Central Market
