Malibu Wine Tasting
Description: Kick off the conference with some sightseeing and wine-tasting at one of our local vineyards in the Santa Monica Mountains!
Date/Time: Thursday, Jan. 12th, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Location: Malibu Wines, Malibu, CA (meet at hotel lobby)
Transportation: Bus to Malibu Wines and Santa Monica
Cost: $65/person.

Aquarium of the Pacific
Infrastructure to Support Aquatic Life (costs $30)
Description: Kick off the conference learning about the infrastructure needed to support aquatic life to more than 11,000 ocean animals. Includes tour fees & general admissions ticket! Afterwards, take an adventure to check out the restaurants & shops along the waterfront, see Parkers’ Lighthouse or bike along the Shoreline Village.
Date/Time: Thursday, Jan. 12th, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Rainbow Harbor, Long Beach
Cost: $30/person for transportation (meet at hotel lobby)

Santa Monica Happy Hour
Description: Continue your pre-conference partying with a night in Santa Monica! Join us for happy hour and stick around through the night to check out more of 3rd Street Promenade and the iconic Santa Monica Pier.
Date/Time: Thursday, Jan. 12th, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, last bus at midnight.
Location: Barney’s Beanery, Santa Monica, CA (meet at hotel lobby)
Transportation: Shuttles will run to and from the hotel from 5pm-midnight.
Cost: $10/person for transportation and appetizers. (No additional cost if registered for wine-tasting.) 21+ to enter bar.
